Canadian Centre of Arts and Technology (CCAT)

Canadian Centre of Arts and Technology is a resarch centre at Waterloo with a number of interesting projects in the early phase. From the sounds of this press release, UW’s new centre studies human response to technology, Waterloo is investing in this area with funds and CRC chairs.

One interesting project is digital depot which is also a project of the Canadian Centre for Cultural Innovation. These are both the work of their new CRC chair in Communication and Technology, Phil Graham. I’m not sure if the CCCI or digital depot are well fleshed out yet.
Phil Graham and the CCAT seem associated with Digital Arts Communication – a specialization available to students in arts programs.
