ARCHAVE: Cave at Brown

ARCHAVE is the site for a 3-D visualization lab at Brown University which has a cave. They have been using it for archaeological projects and electronic literature projects.

For a story on the 3-D writing experiments and classes using the cave see Writing goes 3-D (GSJ of Aug. 30, 2002)

When I visited I saw a visualization of Petra wich an enourmous camel and a really neat original creative writing project by Noah Wardrip-Fruin (and others) called Screen. For more on the writing projects see Works from the Cave.
