One is the <a href=\"https:\/\/era.library.ualberta.ca\/public\/search\/narrow?q=&amp;fq=facet.community%3A%22Histories+of+Humanities+Computing%22&amp;sort=sort.author%20asc&amp;narrowField=facet.author:%22John+B.+Smith%22\">John B. Smith Archive<\/a>. You can download bundles or the complete archive which can be found at <a href=\"http:\/\/hdl.handle.net\/10402\/era.41201\">http:\/\/hdl.handle.net\/10402\/era.41201<\/a>. Amy Dyrbye and I worked with John B. Smith to assemble this, document it and deposit it in ERA (the Education and Research Archive).<\/p>\n<p>Another archive that we are building is a <a href=\"https:\/\/dataverse.library.ualberta.ca\/dvn\/dv\/huco\/faces\/study\/StudyPage.xhtml?globalId=doi:10.7939\/DVN\/10253\">collection around Gamergate<\/a>. The DOI for this is:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>doi:10.7939\/DVN\/10253<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For this we are using Dataverse that allows us to manage the archive and publish some parts or not.<\/p>\n<p>Given the work that goes into developing and documenting these archives I would argue that they should be considered scholarly work, but that is another matter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have recently deposited two research archives here at the University of Alberta.
