Is it time to stop?&#8221; This story is largely based on an OECD Working Paper titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oecd.org.login.ezproxy.library.ualberta.ca\/dataoecd\/46\/43\/44893058.pdf\">Careers of doctorate holders: employment and mobility patterns (PDF)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The other Nature article is an opinion piece titled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nature.com.login.ezproxy.library.ualberta.ca\/news\/2011\/110420\/full\/472261a.html\">Reform the PhD system or close it down<\/a> by Mark C. Taylor.
